NAI Global announced the annual winners of its Of the Community Awards for a single office as well as an individual this week at its Global Convention taking place at the Hilton Austin Hotel in the Texas capital.

NAI Global has added commercial real estate services in Slovenia and Croatia with the addition of NAI Significa, according to Jay Olshonsky, SIOR, FRICS and President of NAI Global, a leading global commercial real estate brokerage firm.

Two NAI Global offices, led by Steve Pastor and Susan Fox with New Jersey-based NAI James E. Hanson has teamed up with John Simons, Holden Rushing and Chris Haro of NAI Partners in Houston to market a new 10-million-square-foot, rail-served industrial property in El Campo, Texas named SW International Gateway Business Park.

NAI Commercial Montreal and Terramont Real Estate Services Inc., two of Montreal’s top commercial real estate firms, will join forces and beginning March 1 will operate as NAI Terramont Commercial. With the merger, the official NAI Global office in Montreal enters the top 5 firms serving the office, industrial, retail, tenant and investor market in Canada’s second biggest city.

Bryce Custer, SIOR, CCIM, MRICS and Managing Director of NAI Ohio River Corridor announced the establishment of a new commercial real estate services firm focused on serving the site selection and commercial real estate requirements associated with the emerging petrochemical and energy services industries in West Virginia, Southwestern Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio.

NAI Global recently revealed that during 2017, it added 15 new office locations and that those investments are already beginning to pay off. Nine of the new locations are in U.S. markets, while six of them are international.

With the commencement of the 2017-2018 school year, we turn our attention in this column to highlighting what some of our people are doing to support the commercial real estate community.  NAI Global professionals are involved in dozens of community-based organizations throughout the U.S. and across the globe, but one association engagement stands out.
